Lending requirements are handled differently by the individual banks. They are subject to the interaction of market penetration intentions and capital defaults that have taken place. Influencing factors in all banks are the borrower's creditworthiness, equity or third-party capital contributions, the purpose of the property, additional collateral and, in some cases, amortization. Financing levels vary today from 40% (industrial buildings) to 80% (rented commercial and office buildings and private residential properties). In the case of private individuals, financing is increasingly only based on income and the security of a life insurance policy.
